donaldp indicated in his earlier post that "He says the geometry on these parts have been changed and were put into production later than week 3 production in 2010." That would suggest you are in the clear.

You should expect there to be no issue. Production after week three of January 2010 have the newly engineered parts.

Side Bar --- Car arrives in the lot tomorrow (finally!). So, hopefully within the next few days I'll be the proud owner of brand new A5!!

I have a 2010 A5 with 1200 miles on it and I am experiencing this same problem. Almost feels like the clutch pedal gets stuck as I release it when engaging 1st gear. I also occasionally pick up a little "click" in it when moving it in and out even when it's in neutral. But it's only an issue sometimes, which is the frustrating thing.
I've already had my tranny pulled once for a transmission leak. Not really relishing the idea of them having to do surgery on it again. How agreeable is Audi USA being on this issue - anyone talk to them directly yet?

I have a little more info regarding repair to my S5 in reference to the TSB that has only been released in Germany. The part that has had the geometry changed is the throwout bearing lever. In addition to this part, the dealer is going to be replacing the hardware around the throwout bearing lever, the bell housing bolts, and the slave cylinder. As of now, the slave cylinder is the only part yet to arrive. More details and specs to follow at the time of the repair.

Quick Update
They said the car should be ready around Tuesday, so will post another update afterwards.
Thanks everyone for posting updates on this issue.

Suggest you ask them if they are following European TPI 2021653/4.
There should be 3 parts replaced based on the information I have found.
These parts are typically special order from Germany at this point.
If they are not using the newly designed parts it may not solve the problem.

Agree with Can Quattro. In an earlier version of TPI 2021653/4 (2021653/1) it was actually stated NOT to attempt repair because it will NOT solve the problem. TPI 2021653/4 has the part numbers that needs to be replaced, can be found from https://erwin.audi.com.
