Re: 2014 Audi A5 2.0 AWD with 9700 Miles

Last night while driving home 4am, orange warning light "ECP" came on. I could feel my car sort of jerking as I accelerated. I managed to drive 30 miles home, but as I got close to home, I could smell gasoline, and a lot of fumes coming from the exhaust. The last thing i did was a gas fill up, but I securely closed gas cap.


Today I connected VAG COM. this is what the printout looks like...
Part seem to indicate Ignition coil, i think ????
" Part No SW: 8K5 907 115 J HW: 8K2 907 115 L "

Has this happened to anyone else with A5 yet?
Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty?

I found this video on Youtube to replace ignition coils

Googled the parts, looks like a $50 fix.

Can anyone please confirm, or let me know if they see anything else on VAG Printout. Thanks.

Take a trip to your dealer and make use of the warranty. No need to try to fix this yourself and spend more of your time and money when Audi will fix it for free....

I was wondering what the fix was for this repair? I have a 2015 Audi A4 and I have the exact same codes right now that keep coming back especially P053F. Runs great except when you first start it up in the morning or after work.. I replaced the HPFP a year ago due to no start intermittently. Now I am having rough start up issue. I tried a new in tank fuel pump and fuel line pressure sensors already. I pulled the timing cover and checked the measurement between the two timing marks and I was at 126.4 mm. I only have an OBD 2 scanner so any help,would be appreciated.
