A5 sunshades
Hi guys,
I'm looking for something to cover all 4 windows of my A5 sportback. What choices do I have? Are there any genuine Audi accessories or should I get the windows tinted?

There is a German company, Windesa, that makes sunshades that pop in...not sure if they do side doors, but they do the small quarterlights and rear. I have a set of them for my coupe A5 and they are pretty good...they tame the sun wonderfully, and almost look like tinting from the outside. Popping them in and out wasn't too difficult, but not something you want to do too often. Nighttime isn't so hot, as they do darken the view quite a bit (but I use my mirror dimmer a lot less now!), but as it is behind you it isn't terrible (hard to tell if a cop is following you, which may not be a big deal for most folks but is in NJ where every 3rd car is a policecar). I'll try to paste the link but if you do the typical www then windesa followed by com you will get to their overall site...

I'll rely on my tint. I agree. It is hard to see what is following you at night with permanent sunshades.
