Hey,

Please can someone enlighten me how the AC button is meant to work (New Audi Owner)

In "Auto" mode I cannot seem to toggle the button; when I press it; it lights up then as I release it turns off? which leads me to believe the AC is not working?

I've posted a video below; Can someone let me know if you think this is a genuine problem before I take it to a garage and avoid being red-faced. I cannot tell if the air is actually being cooled in the current mode as it is cold outside.

Any advice greatly appreciated! Thank you. (Model A5 Sport 3.0 TDI 2009)

My A/C light always stays on when the A/C is on, even in Auto mode. I think there is an issue.

My 2013 Q5 had an issue with the a/c button not staying lit. They replaced something and it was fixed. There is an issue that the dealer should be able to find.
