Ok so i'm looking for better exhaust sound. Basically what i want is AWE track exhaust but i'm thinking of giving a try to muffler delete. (AWE track would cost me 2600$ without the downpipes because i live in EU...shipping and taxes really add up alot).

So i got a few questions about muffler delete, since english isn't my first language, my main question is, by muffler delete everyone means it as by removing the last 2 bits right at the end of the exhaust? Near the tips. Or is it the middle part? What i understand is that i basically have to cut it out and weld a straight pipe instead of it?

Also i would very much appreciate if anyone has a proper video of what a v8 sounds like with only muffler delete. Is this idea even worth considering? BTW my car has automatic transmission if it makes any difference.

I think replacing the muffler with a straight pipe could result in a very loud exhaust.

I did this with my 944 Turbo recently. My 944 has a turbo and the catalytic converter to muffle the exhaust, and it was louder than I expected.
