Default Before I take in. Seat Presets/memory not working

I'm trying to figure out if I did something silly before going to the dealer.

My drivers side seat memory presets do not work. I've cycled the 'on/off' button next to the 1/2 a few times.

Also the 'slide seat forward' button on the top of the backrest won't work either for getting people in/out of the back seat.

Is there something else that will disable that before I take it in for a look?

Thanks

Oh, all the normal adjustment buttons work fine. it's just the memory / top of seat switch.

Default Dealer Visit

Had this happen on my 2010 S5 - took it dealer for some recoding. Not sure what the cause was (battery had not been disconnected, etc.) just occurred.

Should be easy fix for them I expect.

The normal fix for the memory not working is to use the controls to move the seat through it's full range of motions. Yup... bring it all the way forward, then all the way backward, and the memory feature should come back to you.

Sounds worth a try.

You may want to unplug the appropriate fuse for a minute and replug.
