Default Can we spray Scotchguard on the Cab roof?

I have a new 2014 A5 Cabriolet. What products are people using to care for the fabric roof?

Has anyone used scotch guard?

Thanks!

There are products specificically formulated for fabric convertible tops, and good practice is to use this once a year or so. I had excellent results using the Porsche Cabrio Protectant on my BMW E36 - if it's still available I would recommend it. There's some good info on the care and feeding of cabrio tops here: http://store.carcareonline.com/carea...dsofttops.aspx

Check with Phil at Detailers Domain. He has tried almost every product out there. I'm sure he will have an answer for you.

Getting ready to clean and apply protectant to our 2006 A4 Cabriolet top. I've read most of the posts on this forum. Can anyone tell me how much I need to purchase to do the job?

I second that. I used Raggtop on my '10 and '11 S5 Cabs.
