cannot reset my service due reminder

Default cannot reset my service due reminder

every time I start my car it tells me service is due, i have the vag com cable & program but I cannot find the avenue to take to get it to reset.

You hit the SRI reset button on the VCDS interface. That opens up the next window. There's a little pull down menu you have to get at the top of this 2nd window. That executes the actual reset.


I'm quite certain Ross Tech has a video on their site. However, I think if you go in and have a look, you'll see it.

Yeah I looked there & done that. The problem is it resets my oil change mileage counter to 0 & 365 days each time which in turn messes me up +the reminder on start up does not shut off

Default try the ross-tech forum or email ross-tech.

IF you have VCDS. Otherwise you may have to see an audi dealer for parts guessing. Yeah, they do that a lot.

I just finished reading 'The Spark and the Drive" about a muscle car repair shop right before/during computer-controlled cars' fuel injection and such..had to laugh because one of the lines regarded dealer's penchant for replacing an entire engine rather than repairing one much less modifying or upgrading one.
Fewer come-backs plus warranty work pays well.
