I have an S5 coupe, but believe hardily in car covers in Texas. I have a 32 year old Z that has almost perfect paint because it was covered most of the time. So, I went to the dealer and bought an Audi Cover. Wasn't cheap, but will maintain your paint and top out of most of the UV. Oh, and will maintain the interior in better shape as well as be cooler when you get in.

I wasn't sure how good the Audi outdoor cover really was since the Audi site doesn't say much about it. I was looking at California Car Cover and that is expensive but it does beat the $6900 new top cost.

I bought a cover from California Car Covers for my S5 for the occasional use at my office parking deck to keep the pollen off in the spring here in GA. It's a great cover and has a super soft liner that doesn't leave any scratches. big fan:

I strongly recommend Audi's OEM car cover. I used it for nearly 5 years and it kept my paint in excellent condition. I recently got $25,000 for my trade on my nearly 7 year old S5. It does not scratch the paint as long as you don't put it on a dirty car. Make sure you wash your car, dry it or dust it off before putting on the cover. Don't waste your money on the knockoff brands.
