Default clutch replacement for my 2012 A5

I just got a ridiculous quote for clutch replacement for my A5. Looks like it burned out while I was trying to get it out of the snow after the Storm Jonas 2016. Does anyone know any other options for having this replaced that won't cost me a kidney? They said it wasn't covered by the extended warranty and not sure if insurance will cover. I don't have a garage or tools to do it myself. Any ideas are welcome.

It's an engine or trans removal plus cost of parts.
Insurance won't cover mechanical failure, extended warranty MIGHT if you bitch to audi regional and have them look at it. If you burnt it digging out of snow it's on you. Consider replacing it with an aftermarket heavy duty clutch…do clutch, pressure plate, AND throwout bearing.

Try an audi independent.
V6 or turbo 4?
V8 4.2 BOHICA!!!
