Default Considering a replacement RS5

Have a 2013 RS 5 with 30k miles. Was involved in bad front end crash. Car is totaled. Looking to replace it with a 2015 RS5 or 2015 BMW M4. Comments. Thanks

Too many variables for a forum answer. Is snow a factor? Is a MT a consideration? Exclusivity? Track performance?

And although, both are exclusive. The RS is more exclusive. M4 arguably offers slightly more fun track performance.

Personally, If I've already owned an RS5, I'd be all in to try something different with a MT and better track performance. Therefore the M4.

Default Go for the M4 or an M2.

The M2 is more engaging although smaller.

You'd love the M4 in the winter with heated steering wheel!!!!
I've driven the DCT and the manual…the manual is more engaging and eventually you'll have fewer problems with it. It's really irritating to grab a paddle on the BMW DCT to downshift just because and then it STAYS in that gear until you move the console lever to Drive. Especially around town; on the track you want it to stay in paddle mode fine, but IMHO I want it to go back to automatic in 20 seconds or so unless I put the console shifter in manual.

The M4 manual also has rev-match, pretty cool even if you know how to heel and toe. One less distraction.
