When going over bumps in the extreme cold, the lower left windshield pops and crackles. Is there a fix for this?

Is your car a coupe or cabriolet? The windshield in my cabriolet will pop once in a while when exiting my driveway (there is approximately a six inch decline from the driveway to the road similar to a speed bump). I figure it's because the car is a convertible and, therefore, doesn't have the fixed roof.

Yep cabs don't have the body stiffness that coupes do
