What other marques have pop-up navs?

What purpose does it serve? A novelty?

If you want to wait, buy the 2020 Audi RS5 You have a couple of years to save for it.

Same boat as you are but already made up my mind.

The lease on my 2012 S5 will expire this December. Its probably one of the last V8 with manual transmission ever made, delivered Dec. 2011. Love the car so much I want a new one with same configuration but decided against getting the 2015 model:

- Body style will look old in 6 months
- Current MMI is rubbish. 2016's will most likely get the new system from the A3 with LTE

Like you, I'd like to have the latest and greatest and I think its gonna be worth the wait

BTW, my S5 got only 25K and I'm going to turn it back to the dealer so not looking to make any money here. But if anyone is shoot me a message...

2012 S5 4.2 V8 Prestige
6-Speed
Brilliant Black/Magma Red/Brushed Aluminum
Sports differential/Drive select
Bang & Olufsen

I have a 2013 S5 and am also sweating if the next generation will offer a manual. The saving grace may be the BMW M4 ironically enough since they do offer a manual and it may nudge Audi to continue to offer it...at least that's what I am hoping for!

Does the M4 MT have all wheel drive with the big engine? When we bought th S4 I thought they didn't.

I do not think that the M4 is all wheel drive and is rear wheel drive only

The M4 is RWD only, however the 435iX does have AWD. It can be ordered with a 6 Spd manual and there are a number of dealer installed performance options that get it to almost 400 BHP and 375 LB-Ft of torque.

You should all wait . . and keep waiting . . I mean just think . . You wait, and get that 2016, and poof!! . . It's old the moment you drive it off the lot . . I sense lots of upcoming disappointment ..

So you better just keep waiting . .

Well more good news for the manual lovers....Cadillac has just announced the ATS coupe V-spec and it has a manual. Hopefully for the next generation S5 it will mean Audi would want to offer it as well since both BMW and now Cadillac are offering a manual option
