Default Adaptive xenon plus headlights look different?

The Adaptive xenon plus headlights look different when compared to the standard ones? (when off).
In other words, can they be identified just by looking at them (off)

What year? On 2013+ models at least, the adaptive xenon also have cornering lights. If you look where the arrow is pointing in the picture below, you should see a small bulb pointing outward at about a 45 degree angle. This bulb turns on at slow speeds when turning the steering wheel to illuminate the area in front left/right of the car, so you can see where you are going. I think pre-facelift models have the same, but I'm not a 100% sure.
