I live in NJ, and they are really bad here too. Im assuming you mean potholes. It was on TV about a week back that there were lines of cars on the side of Rt1 that had all gotten flat tires, and bent rims driving over deep pot holes

It's even bad up here in the mid-Hudson Valley. I84 is brutal. As much as I'd like to take my S5 to Forest Hills, Queens, I'll wait till the asphalt plants open up again in late March and they make some repairs.

You're optimistic and I hope you are right, but I can't see our roads getting back to anything close to normal until summer.

Worse is thinking it's just a puddle I'm going to drive through only to find out it's a foot deep. Lost two rims and tires in 3 months driving around Manhattan.

I cursed myself tonight, ... thinking it was a shallow puddle, instead it was like a foot deep, a braked inside of it and scraped my bumper. P*ssed. But at least I didnt get a flat tire or bend my rim.

Ouch! Sorry that happened to you. Turns my stomach just looking at that and thinking of the sound it made. Good luck with the repairs.

With all the advances in automotive technology its too bad that Audi hasn't yet developed a way to identify large potholes in the road ahead before driving into them.

Ouch! It must be very hurt for both; the owner and the car. I feel very sorry for you. I bet that I would not be able to sleep for months if this happens to my car.
