Default Front plate ideas for A5

The A5 my hubby bought has the front plate holder on it. Although our state doesn't require one, the holes would still be there. So, any ideas for a cool front plate to get him? Or, are the holes easily plugged where it will look OK? Right now, he has a billboard plate advertising where he bought it.

Not sure if it's the same on an A5 but on my A8 the plate holder kind of clips to the grill. when it's removed you can't tell it was ever there. It should be very easy to remove if you want to check.

Laters, there are many scenic plates that can be found.

On the other hand, I bought a new frame and then a plate displaying my pride in my service, state and country.

Thanks. He was able to take it off. We do have a Veteran tag on the back.

Thank you both for your service! I'm not a vet but my father is. Also my youngest daughter is active duty Air Force.

My advice is no plate of any kind, decals, bumper stickers, even toll pass if required, temporary cleat tape from inside. If you really want to get something you think he'll like, rear license plate holder. My state requires front plate but you won't see one on mine.
