Hi all,

I purchased a blendmount radar detector with their mirror tap electrical connector. I'm not to handy but always willing to give it a try. I want to hardwire it to my auto dimming mirror in my 2013 a5 cabriolet and was wondering if anyone can tell me what color wire is the hot and what color is the ground? The mirror tap from blend mount is a 12inch cord that plugs directly into the power of the mirror with an inline fuse. Any help would be greatly appreciated since the delivery should be tomorrow or the next day.

It took me a bit to figure mine out. 2010 Audi S5 Cabrio. Power was the white wire. Ground was the grey wire. Works like a charm. Not sure if the wiring is the same for your model. I have found watching videos on YouTube that the process is all the same, however, the wire colors don't always match year and model. Hope this helps someone.
