Congratulations...
… I hope you enjoy the car as much as I do. It will take a few thousand miles to loosen up as the power is all up in the higher rev's. Mine just keeps getting stronger and I really am in love with the mountain handling. You should make a pilgrimage to LA and drive the mountains with us. Come west through Hemet - awesome roads to LA. Get your complimentary oil change at Audi Pacific. Spend two days - one in Angeles Crest and the other in The Los Padres - both are great 120-150 mile loops. The booming shifts echo off of the canyon walls - you'll laugh like a fool - how delightful. I have had a lot of cars and I guess had become a touch jaded. Ho-hum, another very competent car. The BOOM - an RS5 lights up your world. Snarly, not so easy to drive fast - you have to work at it a bit - keep the revs up - tumble into corners - trail brake to set the suspension, then pow - out the other side flinging to the next bend (remember to breath).
With white, the bright strips, mirrors and wheels are just perfect.
The shot below is from a wonderful "dead end" canyon road in Azusa (42 miles, about 4000 ft - little cafe at the top). COmpletely empty most of the time (if they are not shooting car commercials)
Happy Motoring
