Mirror won't tilt back up
I have my mirrors set so the passenger side mirror tilts down when in reverse. I noticed the other day that the mirror was staying in the "down" position even when I put the car in Drive. I drove 30 miles and it wouldn't go back to its normal position. I tried moving the mirror selector to the center and left positions but nothing worked. I finally just had to move the mirror up with my hand and keep the selector in the center position, so now it no longer tilts. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, this has happened to me a few times. I'm not sure what sequence of events led to it, but it's easy to fix. Once you are moving at normal speed, just press and hold the seat memory button for your current seat position until the mirror is back in the normal position.

Make sure that the "Seat Adjustment" in the MMI is pressed to drivers seat "on" for the remote master key.
Place mirror to passenger side, place car in reverse, adjust the pass. mirror while on reverse, to how you would like mirror when backing up. Turn car off and pass. mirror should return to regular driving position and storing your reverse settings. That's how its working on my FL S5.

Thanks for the replies, guys! It started working again, but I will do the seat memory and key thing to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I was totally confused by the total thing.
1) the mirror selector must be in the [R] position
2) make sure you have 'saved' your seat position(s) in [1] or [2]
3) as noted above; make sure it's on in the MMI
4) while in [Rev] set the down position
5) start driving--once the Auto Door Lock engages the mirror should return to the home/drive position--if not move and re-save your Seat Memory Position
6) if the mirror returned--re-save anyway to mark the [Rev] mirror location
There's a lot of trial-and-error in it... but it's a great feature!
