Brakes for HPDE?
Just ran my third (and last, unfortunately) HPDE event of the season, and while my '09 S5 performed superbly with its stock brakes, I believe I managed to build up some deposits on the front rotors which are now causing a bit of vibration under normal braking. So now I am contemplating new rotors and pads, and am wondering if anyone has recommendations for pads and/or rotors suitable for track use? I can't find any after market rotors for the S5 except as part of big brake kits from Stop Trech, Brembo, and STaSIS. And no high-performnace after-market pads either - at least not from usual sources (Hawk, Axxis). Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks! Two questions:
1. The rotors are listed as fitting the '08 S5 - any idea whether they are also suitable for the '09? I am amazed at how many sites list parts for the '08 but not the '09.
2. Any experience with Ferodo brake pads?

2. Call or e-mail David Zeckhausen directly for his feedback - he is responsive and a brake God!
