Picked up my 2014 RS5 today
Very excited as I just picked up my new 2014 RS5 in Daytona Gray w/ Black Optic, Sport Exhaust and the MMI package. Already read through the entire manual like a true gearhead.
I had an Ibis White/Chestnut Brown B8.5 S4 prior to this, until I made the mistake of seeing this at the dealer...so it will be interesting to compare and contrast the two. Although, the RS5 only has about 50 miles on it right now, so way too early for any of that.
What I can say at this point is that the sound of the RS5 is addictive. Quite a snarl that is music to the ears.
Anyways, that's it for now. Here are some pics (low quality sorry).

Very nice. The pics are soo low quality it looks like you processed them through Instagram or some other filter..
So "black optic"..?? Makes all the chromey-bits black? It looks mean. Epic mean.

Thanks. I love the Sepang Blue. It was my first choice, but this one was available. Oh well, I'll just have to suffer.
I do like the Daytona though, and it looks aggressive with the Black Optic pkg. My color preferences, FWIW, were, in order:
1. Sepang Blue
2. Ibis White
3. Suzuka Gray
4. Phantom Black
Misano, Panther and Silver were out.
Misano = too much attention from law enforcement
Panther = wouldn't commit without seeing it in person, and there were none around
Silver = heard the silver for RS5 is gorgeous, but not worth the extra $500 (over other colors that cost $500 already) as it wasn't a strong preference
See ya,
Mike

I guess Audi switched the name from Titanium to Black Optic, not sure if there is any difference. One thing that some folks may not realize is that the black trim around the windows is not a matte black and is not rubber. Rather, it is a shiny black and is a hard, non-porous surface. Should be a pleasure to keep scratch free!
