So at 750$ Canadian dollars, sounds like a great deal then.

The Audi Care for my 2015 S5 was $920. However, by adding it to my lease I got an additional 1% added to the residual. Based on a $62,000 S5 that added $620 to the residual value. So the real cost to me was closer to $300 for all of the service during my 45,000 lease. I thought the math proved it to be a good purchase.

That's what I did as well. To me it is a no brainer.

I think that a lot of people don't realize that service prices, like new car prices, are negotiable. Apparently most people just take their car to the dealership, without first inquiring what the price will be for the service. That makes about as much sense as paying sticker price for a car. Of course these service price discussions must take place with the service manager and not the service writer. The four year service for my Porsche 997 was $1250. When I checked out the details for the service, I saw that it included an oil change, spark plug change, and the replacement of a couple of filters. The rest was just a series of checks. I wrote an email to the Porsche services manager and told him that I though that the four year service price was excessive, given what they provided, and wrote that I would have the service performed at an indy unless he reduced the price. Within an hour he replied that he would be willing to perform the four year service at the two year service price. This represented a price reduction of a little over $500, and all it took was an email.
