My MMI says that service is due in 6,700 miles or 14 days. I had the 5K service on August 5th. Since that 5K oil change, I've only put about 3,000 miles on the car. I'd like to delay servicing until after Labor Day when I return from a 3,000 mile trip through the Southwest USA.

Could having the 15K service a month late but well under 10,000 miles cause me warranty grief later on? How much leeway does Audi USA give you on these service intervals?

I would not worry about the one month late or if it were 10,300 before getting it changed. Besides, this 3.0 practically burns no oil, you should be fine. At least that's the case with my 3.0.

I would however, check with actual dipstick to be sure I'm near MAX. And carry an extra quart in the trunk.
