S5 with MIL, EPC, TPMS....
I've got a 2010 S5 that shortly after starting the other day proclaimed multiple faults. Stabilization System Fault, TPMS Malfunction, Parking Brake Malfunction and the MIL light for good measure. It runs but has a misfire at idle and stumbles under acceleration. VAG-COM shows multiple sensors with most being "Short to Ground" or "Supply Voltage" The battery was the original so I swapped for a new one today, cleared the codes, checked fuses but the problem persists. Seems electrical to me. Anyone know the common failure point here?

Yes, resolved with a new high pressure fuel pump. I understand how this was causing many of the faults but no one could ever explain what this circuit had to do with parking brake etc.

Ahh, thank you.
I have a somewhat similar issue without the engine performance issues like your self.
From what my local Audi wrench has explained and what I have gleened from other forum threads is that the Parking Brake system failure warning is automatically generated when there's a fault discovered within the Airbag system. That's what I currently have - those two fault indications. My Audi wrench could not clear the codes and for the first time, he has suggested I seek the assistance of a dealership to sort it out.
I was hoping your situation being somewhat similar to mine might shed some light as to how to sort mine out. It's that commonality of certain sensor groups that are somehow inter-related in that if one system is triggered, the other system is too without there even being an issue with it in the first place.
Thanks again for replying?
