sagging headliner

sagging headliner
I have a 2011 cabriolet and in the past week the headliner has started sagging inside the vehicle. I live in Mississippi and think it the heat and humidity may have had something to do with it but can't say for sure.
Anyone have suggestions on where to go to get it repaired? Hate to take it to the dealer, am thinking of trying a local upholstery shop.
Also, any thoughts on what it might cost?
Thanks for any insights.

I found a interior/convertible top shop about 25 miles from where I live (surprising in Mississippi) They said Audi wanted $6,000 for a new top. They fixed the headliner and re-glued the glass in the top for $391. Looks brand new.

Good for you, Ruppster!
I just love stories about the dealerships demanding an exorbitant amount of money for parts and service, then the owner finding local craftsmen to do the job satisfactorily for a fraction of the price.
Since you're happy with the work, why don't you give the name and location of the shop in case someone else needs the same repair?

They specialize in restorations of classic cars and just opened a separate shop for interiors and convertible tops. The price was actually over one-hundred dollars less than the quote and they said if anything comes loose just to bring it back. Oh, they also washed and detailed the car at no charge!
One of the absolute best customer services experiences I've ever had.
