Default Things you didn't know about your A5...

Hey everyone, just thought I'd start this thread so everyone can learn about neat features of the car.

- We have a glow in the dark escape handle in the truck should you ever decide to lock one of your friends in there! :P

The law mandating glow in dark handles passed about eight years ago. All new cars have had them.

If a passenger has changed their temperature and you'd like to sync them back up, you can just press in the driver's side **** and hold it in for a second. This saves the hassle of finding the sync in the MMI menus.

(I learned this one on this board)

If you have the Advanced Key, try this.

1. Lock car from the outside.
2. Pop trunk using keyfob
3. Put key fob on the floor of the trunk
4. close trunk....

It'll automatically pop back open since it senses the key inside. you can try and try and try, and everytime it pops open.

NOTE: Make sure you have the second key available, just in case!!

If you put the side view mirror **** (located on the driver side door) to the right and put the car in reverse, the mirror tilts down and moves back to the original stored position once the car starts moving forward.

If you hook it up to a Vag-Com--- You can make it so when you hold down the unlock button, the windows open, and close with the lock button.

Default iPod Reboot

With your iPod connected through the AMI, occasionally the onscreen display indicates standby, empty, not reading, etc. A reboot will correct this condition (disconnect & reconnect iPod).

To remove any doubt, moving the side mirror **** to the right trick will work with those vehicles equipped with a backup camera as well.
