Using Vag-Com:

B. Go to Module 5F
C. Open Long Coding
D. Change the last five digits to read …….10000 (For example: 01010001010681ED01002B1E000000010000)
E. Do It
F. Back out of Vag-Com
Step 2:
Change Language (Using MMI):

C. Select -- Menu Language
D. Change to Spanish/French/etc.
E. Return to English and Voice Command should work.
Turn the MMI system and let the car sit for a little to reset/re-boot the MMI system. Some have done this by letting the car sit overnight as the MMI system require some time to reset.

2 Montreal based dealers told me that they could not activate voice command in my A5 cab and if I would get it activated it would void my warranty. Maybe this is only for Canada, but beware :-)

Just have to try the third one its just a VAG com code change and will not void your warranty. Now if you made a mistake and changed something else in there then it could be an issue..

Work in 2013 S5 cab ?
Picked up my 2013 S5 Cab yesterday, and asked dealer to make this work, and sales guy said that his tech told him it can be done on the 2012s, but not the 2013s. Anyone find a way around this yet ?
