Sales guy is FOS! I have a '13 S5 cab and the tech at the dealer activated mine with VAG-COM cable.

Well I know this is an old thread...but I just bought a 2013 A5 and bought a cheap VAG COM off ebay. Figure I would give it a try. Have not received it yet. I can't believe they would disable this on the convertible. Makes no sense. Does anyone have any experience with an ebay cable? It was only $7 vs $350.
