Will the car start after 6 weeks?
Will be traveling for 6 weeks and was wondering if I might need someone to start my car every couple of weeks.
The car is 2014 and is summer.
Keeping it connected to a charger is not feasible.
Also, is the battery dies, does the car need to be "reset" or it's just a matter of jumpstarting?
Thanks!!!

If your battery is in good shape, you should not have issues starting the car.
My '11 A4 has a battery meter in the MMI. You can gage the condition/life of the battery. (I might have activated this feature with the VCDS cable, I can't say for sure.)

I agree but he did not say if the car was being stored inside or out. Inside is better. If outside - try to be sure the fuel tank if full to prevent condensation though with our sealed systems less of a issue

Mine went 4 months and started right up. Car was outside. I was worried about the gas going bad and fouling up the fuel injectors, but had no problems.

I agree..six weeks it should crank. But use Stabile in the gas tank.

I am not a fan of gas stabilizers. They only put a floating layer on top of the gas that will have to go through the injectors eventually. With the closed fuel systems on the Audis he will be fine with no additives.
