Hi! Im using Carista v2.3 (not beta) and I an trying to figure out how to enable auxiliary ventilation or heating. The app itself doesnt have this option but I tried enabling the hidden menu and then went to tic the "auxiliary heating" which is located in "cardevicelist". I then rebooted the MMI system but I dont get the menus that I have seen other people have.

Any help appreciated

Peter

I read through this thread with a great deal of interest. The one thing that has been bugging me since I got my 2014 A5 6MT is that when I turn off the car the e-brake doesn't automatically engage. Is that a modification that can be set by using this system so the e-brake will automatically engage when I turn off the car? Also, I am unclear whether I would need to leave the Bluetooth dongle in the OBD2 port at all times for the changes to stay in effect. I don't want to leave it in and (possibly) expose my car to being hacked.

Thanks.

I don't believe Carista addresses the auto ebrake mod. You would need the VCDS Vag-Com cable and software for that. And no, you don't have to leave the OBD dongle inserted after making changes unless you want a logging feature with their Pro option.

That makes sense about the dongle. Thanks for the clarification. As for the e-brake issue, I guess that I will have to find someone with the cable and software.

I used my Carista this morning to enable the top up/down with remote and smart key, but can't get it to work. Continuously holding the lock or unlock button does nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

Same for windows.

I noticed the listing on Amazon mentions certain models are compatible. Would the TT be included in that list of certain models?

Yup, but it depends on which generation of the TT. Mk2 is fully supported, Mk3 is partly supported and we're actively working on adding more customizations for it: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/tt-...t-mk3-2911347/
