How about looking at the decision from a quality perspective.
What is the quality history for Audi new releases? The last year of a car model is always the best since the manufacturer has had several years to identify and resolve any quality problems.

Default 2016 same

Well the 2016 is not a new design; not even a refresh.

Maybe they can make the battery bigger and call it the S5s, like Apple!

Everyone would have to get a new one. Like the S6s (same).

The lease on my 2012 S5 will expire this December. Its probably one of the last V8 with manual transmission ever made, delivered Dec. 2011. Love the car so much I want a new one with same configuration but decided against getting the 2015 model:

- Body style will look old in 6 months
- Current MMI is rubbish. 2016's will most likely get the new system from the A3 with LTE

Like you, I'd like to have the latest and greatest and I think its gonna be worth the wait

BTW, my S5 got only 25K and I'm going to turn it back to the dealer so not looking to make any money here. But if anyone is shoot me a message...

2012 S5 4.2 V8 Prestige
6-Speed
Brilliant Black/Magma Red/Brushed Aluminum
Sports differential/Drive select
Bang & Olufsen
If you don’t like the 2015 S5 I guess you don’t like the 2016 S5 either, for the same reasons. They are in dealers near me and I am considering one to replace my 2013 A6 when its lease is up in December. I don’t want to wait for the 2017 model even though they are said to be a major restyle, etc. The 2016’s are basically the same as the 2015’s, but that is OK with me. Haven’t made my mind up may go with something else, I still have a few more months to decide.

The 2016's are in Autotrader. The only changes I see are that they are now available with 20" 5-spoke rims and Alcantara door panels even if you get Nappa Leather. Misano Red Pearl is now available as a standard color as well. That's about it.
