ask your dealer to enable? I used a Carista module - check Amazon, or find a buddy with a VAG-Com

I just ordered the Carista Module. Can you tell me how you did it? Is it difficult. I am techie but have never been in the bios of my car before.

I turned on voice recognition with my Carista--very simple. Simply plug it into OBD, synch to BT in your phone, it will discover your car, and give you options. You can also set set up to allow you to raise/lower roof with fob.

Keep in mind you'll have to purchase the deluxe Carista app after you receive the module.

The free version severely limits the functions of the module.

Do I will assume that the Deluxe Carista app will be OK to activate the voice control feature on the convertible?
Is there just 1 deluxe feature app for $9.99?

My understanding is that because the convertible is frequently down the voice feature does not work well with ambient moving air. In Germany the feature is active. But in the US we will be calling the dealer to say that something is wrong...

I used the Carista App to activate voice recognition, fob control for top up/down, turned off DRL "wink", and several other features. It does work well, especially for the price.
