New to me 2016 A5 cab
Just purchased a barely used 2016 A5 cab. Sticker said Nav MMI without voice recognition. Dealer says it's not installed and therefore can't enable it. Anyone know if this is true, or does Audi call every cab ..."without voice recognition..." because they disable it, or is it actually not installed? Thanks.

If the voice button is present the steering wheel, and, if you press-it, you get a audible response or otherwise on the display(s) saying not available, then your cab should be capable of VR. At least this was the case on my '13 cab. I think your dealer is stating the AoA "company position" on VR in cabriolets.
Fwiw, I've used mine plenty with top down (on & off the highway), and while the other-end may think you're in a tornado, if works well enough have a casual conversation.
