Default Tire pressure

Just had the 5k service done and the ride seems rougher. I am guessing they increased the tire pressure. Never checked it before. Bought car 9/28/16. What is the lowest you would set the tires with 19 inch rims. Came with the Perelli tires. They do rotate the tires but I notice no vibration. Liked it before the service.
,now not so much. Just checked pressure after 50 mile drive and found 35.5 in each tire. It is about 55 degrees here. Been told to wait three hours to get an accurate pressure

The sticker on the car says 33 psi. The manual says 32-33 depending on load. I would think lowering to 30 might produce a better ride and be ok. Thoughts.

The sticker tire pressure is for 3 or more passengers. I follow the tire pressures written in the manual for 1 to 2 passengers plus 2 psi which places it somewhere mid-way between sticker and minimum pressures. Following the sticker pressures will result in a very harsh ride especially if your tire's sidewalls are very stiff.

Oskid, you have to open your Owner's Manual to find the rest of the story on tire inflation if you're in the USA.

Default As I mentioned above, I have looked in the owners manual

I am looking for advice from someone with the same car. I am probably going to lower 10% to 30.

That's fine. Are the roads bad where you drive?

There's always going to be a compromise between a smoother ride on bad surfaces vs destroying your tires/wheels due to lowered pressures.

I cannot imagine driving with less than Normal load from the Owner's Manual.

I've never heard of Perlman tires. Are you in the USA? Do the tires meet the bare specification required by Audi? (Again, Owner's Manual)

OK, there you go! Pirelli makes some great tires. Which model do you have?

P zero.Lowered them to 30.5. After 2 hours the pressure from the dealer was still 34.5, which is higher than the max. so I am 1.5 lbs lower than the manual.

That qualifies as underinflated. You shouldn't go below 32 all around for the A5 with summer performance tires. 32 is normal load and 33 is max load, so not that much of a difference between the two. Three hours may not be enough to cool down the air in the tires, especially if you've parked the car in a garage and the warm engine heats up the space. Let everything cool down overnight and then check in the morning. It's not uncommon to get the car back from service with incorrectly inflated tires. I always check the next morning to make sure it's correct. Get yourself a tire pressure gauge, so you can measure the cold tires or make sure you don't drive more than a mile before checking.

The P Zero is not the most comfortable tire and if you underinflate it you risk flat spots. While a good performance tire in the dry, it lacks in the wet and the ride quality is not that great. I did like them on my RS5. Had four sets in four years (I go through tires like underwear :-)), but recently went with the Michelin PSS as they became available again in my size. There's a noticeable difference in ride comfort while performing even better in the dry and much better in the wet.
