Dealership called and stated that they had a changeable allocation and since I was 1st on the list, to come by and configure my order. My configuration is:

Printout says Current ETA 6/10/17 - 7/8/17

If the extreme cost of exclusive color doesn't bother you, i say go for it.

Was told at the Chicago Auto show by an Audi rep the new cost was $900. I was a little cautious of that as I have only seen the $4000 price. Not sure I like it that much if the later is the case.

I think the Audi rep misunderstood your question. He was probably thinking of the standard colors that incur extra cost such as the metallic paints if he quoted you $900. For Audi Exclusive, $4k is more or less correct.
