01 Allroad Fuel hose leak
My Allroad has developed a fuel leak in the short rubber hose coming from the out side of the fuel filter. I need to know if anyone knows the size of the hose and best ways to release fuel pressure before removing the hose. Any other precautions I should be aware of finding?
Also, is there anyplace to buy the rigid fuel line and banjo fitting for the out line of the fuel filter (before it attaches to the rubber hose).
Thanks,
Michael

I am a bit unsure of the hose size but if you cut a small chuck out of the current line and bring it into a auto store they should to sort you
Remove your fuel pump fuse and turn the car over a few times - this should depressurize the system
good luck with the banjo and fuel line

01 Allroad Fuel Leak Update
Thanks Northwestern. I was able to replace the fuel hose with a 235mm length of 5/16" id high pressure fuel hose that I had purchased at NAPA for my old ALFA. However, that didn't stop the leak-it was a pinhole leak at the top of the fuel filter.
I purchased crush washers at the AUDI dealer but they did not have a filter ($28) in stock. I purchased a Mann Filter at NAPA for the same price. I cut the filter strap with a utility knife and loosened the banjo bolts using a 22mm wrench to hold the filter and 17mm and 19mm to remove the bolts. I replaced just the crush washers near the filter and tightened the new filter in gently. I used a heavy duty zip tie to secure the filter within the cut strap bracket.
No leaks!
