Default 02 AR suspension help request

Hey Gang,

I have STFA's but no luck on this so I'm reaching out to the brain trust....

Help request: 02 AR with Gen 2 Arnott's up front, replaced 1 year ago. No issues until this week when overnight when I found the front of the car on the ground in the a.m. (Compressor is still working and making noise) cycling through to add air. Rear bags (OEM) are fine) my guess is no air going to front 2 bags. Have not yet vag-com'd but has anyone had a similar exp? (prior to this all working fine). I inspected front bags and found them with no air, but lines and connectors all intact. Thoughts on issue?

arnotts blew up. Mine were going out like a clockwork every year/10k, probably went through 3 sets during that time, until I finally got fed up and converted to static suspension. Good news is they will replace them, you're SOL on labor though.

Thanks for the response, how'd you KNOW they went? (did you get a fault code or vag-com response?)

I'm ok with the labor b/c I installed them myself (which was a lot easier than first thought...)

Any details you can share would be greatly appreciated.

David.

Like I said, they are made the way they are - they fail often. There is no code you could pull that will tell you ""Your spring leaks!". What it will tell you is something like "Timeout reaching desired height" aka "you have a freaking leak in system". Since hoses don't fail spontaneously and your front is simply not moving == leaky bag.
