2005 2.7t 6-spd fix or sell
My wife car is a black/black 2.7t, 6 speed manual with around 80,000 miles on it. We are the original owners, never been in an accident of any kind. We put in a new clutch and flywheel around 5,000 miles ago. However, since then, the transmission leaked fluid and now needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I am looking at 3 grand either way at a local transmission shop. There was an intermittent check engine light that I haven't had a chance to check out. The air suspension works but that warning light comes on from time to time as well.
It is a third car and I am not sure I have the time to mess with it. It seems to be pretty low mileage for an 05, and manuals are pretty rare. Just abandoning it would seem to be a dumb move.
Does anyone think it is marketable, as is, or should I fix the tranny, check out the warning lights, and then sell it?

Depending on condition otherwise, an 80,000 mile 2005 allroad with a 6 speed would be pretty valuable. I would fix it and sell.
Selling it with questions like whether the suspension is OK and an intermittent check engine light will lead to lots of lowball offers and headaches, IMHO.
Good Luck!

I would get a junk yards trans if you can find one, and do Andy's rebuild to the compressor pump. Sell it with the normal "air bags leak a little" disclosure. The rebuilt pump will overcome slight leaks.
