Does anyone have the Audi information on the rated towing capacity for the 2015 Allroad 2.0?

Have not yet purchased the vehicle. I want something to tow a 500lbs trailer with 130 lbs cargo. Looking at a Q5 TDI or the Allroad.

Well, my Camaro is rated at 1000 lbs. (not that I would) so I would imaging you would be fine with either of those options...

According to what I've read the new allroad isn't rated by Audi for towing BUT that doesn't mean that it can't. Just about any car out there can tow 500-600lb without any issues so I wouldn't be too worried.

I agree that the vehicle should tow a light trailer no problem. When looking into an A3 TDI and a VW TDI, both dealers informed me that, yes, the vehicle could pull a trailer but you would void all warranty. (Even though the VW TDI Sport Wagon is the #1 tow vehicle in the UK).
I installed a trailer hitch to my first S2000 to tow race tyres - no problem. Not sure what Honda would have said however.

I would hold off on buying a TDI right now...
