Default 4.2 allroad timing chain replacement?

Hey guys - my 04 allroad has 133k on it and to my knowledge has never had the timing chains replaced. What do you guys suggest? Looking at the scheduled maintenance it excludes the allroad from a timing chain replacement. Are the chains not something that should be replaced?

Thanks!

Tom

I have an allroad with 217,000 miles. Still running strong. The chains, tensioners and guides were done around 130,000 miles. They should be done ! It's an insanely expensive fix. Around $4,500 to be exact. Not a great design in my opinion. If it is not done, you run the risk of major internal engine problems
