Default A6 C5 Allroad rubbing/knocking

Hi I have a problem with my Allroad: during driving sometimes I can hear some kind of noise under chassis. Sound is similar to two rubbing parts with high frequency. When I stopped the noise disappears or when I will continue driving the sound will disappear after let say 100 meters.

Do you have any ideas what it can be??
Thanks,

There are so many possibilities, if you could provide more information it would help in trying to diagnose the problem.

Air compressor is OK. I've replaced piston ring and now it runs like brand new.

I think(maybe I'm worng) that drive shaft is rubbing on some shield but it only my assumptions. The only way is to disassembling all exhaust and than take off all shields to see what is going on with drive shaft.
Additionaly it always happens when suspension is on level 2 I don't know what's going on on level 1 but on level 3 & 4 everything is OK.

What do you mean 402 modded? After replacing piston ring I had to do adaptation of 402 and test of suspension levels.
