Air suspension bypassing

Air suspension bypassing
Hello I will apologize up front as I am new here and I'm dealing with my 1st Audi. I have a 01 Allroad and the most recent problem is the air compressor not running. I have power at the compressor and suspect it is locked up. My car has 172k miles and tired of sinking money into it.
Here is my question - Can I weld a bung into the air tank and install a schrader valve in order to be able to supply air to the suspension? I am looking to disable the ride control and just be drive the car in a level position.
These are the parts that have been replaced in the last 6 months:
Radiator
Front Air Bags
Front brakes
Front Axles
front ball joints
new tires
I am tired of spending money I am hoping for a quick fix and I plan on selling the car.
Thanks for any help in advance.

air suspension
The air suspension System is dynamic, all the time correcting the height., And height changes depending on the drive speed. The least expensive repair it: dismantles the compressor and check it. Whether the compressor is broken, buy a Used one for 100 $ (Or less) on Ebay

I Agree with amiram,
if you definetely have 12V at the compressor plug, then replace it,
NOTE: you should only get 12V with the ignition on, if 12v is constant with ignition off or on then the relay is stuck on hence the compressor burned out!!
too difficult to overrive and just "fill" the system from one place, this would only work with a valve on each corner to inflate each corner individualy

Air comp
<<<@!1!@>>>
I purchased my compressor six months ago for 50$+ 20$ shipping+ New piston ring (Item NO.181199306617). The compressor I bought is a Mercedes Benz, and should replace the main power connection That you are dismantling from your old compressor. Same with the compressor of a Land Rover, etc.

Attached are some options with a price slightly higher. On eBay you need fishing.
On the other hand, maybe fuse or relay is broken?

Ebay item
Please show us an example of a working used compressor on eBay for "100 $ (Or less)"....the compressor is well over $1000 new and the going rate is about $400 used on eBay.
I'd like to buy a $100 unit and resell it for triple that...which I could.
TIA...unless this is just all talk, AGAIN.

Someone looking to save money, but willing to dig deeper (as the OP stated) would be pulling the present compressor to find the problem and let the car do the work of leveling it long enough to unload it ("sell it"...good advice).
Adding an outside source of air pressure is a terrible idea (would not sell the car)...expense and over-complication that does NOT address the problem causing the failure....wow.
The OP didn't specify when and exactly where he got 12V near or at the compressor.
Best case scenario, the motor or piston may not be jammed or burned out...the brushes could just be carboned up. I'd pull it, check compressing piston for movement, reassemble and put 12V to it while firmly tapping the motor casing, if not a complete disassemble to check brushes and bearing/bushing....trouble maybe, but no more $$ invested to assure the compressor is not salvageable for even a short time.

I thank everyone for the info. After sitting for 2 days I started the car up today and the compressor ran, and leveled the car. I had to play with the ride height control buttons but I managed to get the car to the standard height. I cannot get it to manually go any higher but at least it is drivable at this point.
