Default Air suspension Issue unable to set values with VAGCOM

Hi- I have an '04 that I'm unable reset the values for the lift.
The vehicle is sitting almost on the tires in the front, back is at lvl 2.

My story (and I'm sticking to it)....I had airbag leak on front left shock, bought replacement for both front, began the replacement, broke the bolt head off the pinch bolt, and couldn't get it off. I was going to take it to a shop to replace both pinch bolts.
When I lowered the vehicle, it threw a level sensor error on the front left, and the vehicle front would stay in the low (1) position and the rear up in the air at at least lvl 2. I replaced the sensor (which I don't believe was bad, as I swapped with the right front sensor and didn't throw a code on the right).

When I took the vehicle off jacks this time, the front is almost sitting on the tires, and the vehicle doesn't try to level. The level system shows level 2 on the dash.
Using Ross VCDS, the codes were 01437 - Control position not learned 35-00 and also 00776 - Level Control system sensor; Left Front (G78) 27-00 Implausible Signal.

So, I jacked the vehicle up to level 2, and tried to run the "402 mod" to re-initialize.
In the VCDS, I re-initialize channel 00 to factory defaults, and the channel 01 comes up with waiting, and then ERROR: Channel 01 Not Available (channel 02, 03, 04 also have this error)
I am not able to re-set the values.
After I ran the 402 mod, the only code left is the : 01437 - Control position not learned 35-00.

Ideas how why I'm getting the "ERROR: Channel 01 Not Available"?

Hi Mr. Toast- I've tried about 10 times...still no go. I'm following the 402 mod instructions...but with no success. The Allroad (I actually seem to making it worse..lol) is now sitting on the tires when I'm off the jacks. It there a way to manually raise the vehicle?

Yes...the sensor is replaced.
The only is error code is 01437 - Control position not learned 35-00. I can't clear that one (until I am able to complete the 402 I"m guessing).
