Not for the Allroad but I used the equivalent on one of my VW Golf's.
Has worked fine for over 12 months, alarms cleared, I run a scan every 2 or 3 months without error, works fine.
Just make sure you get the exact same part number, there are multiple variants with very similar part numbers in the Audi/VW/porsche range. The original ones I got from the USA where wrong for RHD so I had to resort to the China option.
