I have an automatic 5hp19fla 01V tiptronic transmission, and there is a leak on the main plug harness that enters the transmission. I have already purchased the 2 o-rings that seal it in place and am hoping to replace them this weekend. By the looks of videos and pictures I've seen, I will need to remove the valve body to create room for the plug to move into the transmission, so I can replace the O-rings (or is it possible to pull that plug with the valve body in place?)... Removal of the valve body seems pretty straight forward, but is there anything that I should/ need to do while I have it out? Or is it as simple as removing it, and then installing it? Thanks in advance!
