Fog Light Assembly - Suppliers?
Trying to line up parts for the laundry list of things to do to the car once it warms up this spring.
I'm looking for a pair of fog lights.
This is ugly:

And having a new one next to this old fugly one would look stupid too:

I got a price of almost $500 from a source I trust. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this on a budget?

New or used? I might have the right side actually used, let me dig into the parts and see. You would have to clean up the sandblasted lens tho with cerium oxide and put a Lamin-x film over it for it to be usuable/worthwhile(IMO).
Carson Heter is a friend to the Audi people and would give you a good deal off OE list if you were to pop for new, Clair parts, www.parts.com also have good online prices.
Shokan will have them used but not cheap, and there's always guys parting one of these cars too it seems lately. Check over on VWVortex and QW.

Used is fine, and I don't mind doing a little TLC to get them looking good.
I will check the other links you suggested, and if you do happen to have PS assembly then we'll talk!

I would check with GAP. They usually have pretty good prices. It looks like these are $120 each.

Fog Lights
I couldn't find the fog light for less than $160.00 in Canada. So I went to eBay. Found a seller with a good rating - start245. They had the foglight for 54.00 plus 12.00 shipping. It came out of Latvia via mail in about 10 days. It is a Valeo made in Spain part. Even included a new bulb. So I was impressed.
