Default Better than OEM Air ride suspension air struts -- do they exist?

It seems to be the season of air suspension problems.

We have an 01 2.7T that just passed 150k. The front right air strut has gone out -- this is the third time we've had to one or both front air strut.

Is there an upgrade available from the OEM struts? I tried digging but my google-fu is failing me.

Here she is chilling at bumper stop:

To answer the original question and sharing common opinion in our demanding weather: The best airbag quality is still in OEM parts. Arnott serves well and their bags are reasonable but not as long-lasting as OEMs are. So if you're for quality, go OEM. They are continental Continentals .

However, I'd avoid Arnott shocks and exact-similar Chinese ones sold by Meissler, Air-Suspension_Shop etc.

I had a tour with non-OEM's and now back with OEMs. Sleeping better.

Just a quick note that Arnott now uses Continental ContiTech Air Bladders in both our Gen I and Gen II air springs for the C5 allroad. The Gen II springs also feature an aluminum can and dust boot to protect the bladder. Same limited lifetime warranty.
