Default CODE: P1624

This is my moms allroad 2001 2.7 auto.

She took the car to an indie shop and they pulled code:

P1624

Anyone know if this is the torque converter problem or something else?

She's in Portland and I'm in Carson City so I am unable to hook it up to vagcom or look at it myself.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Seems like a partial read - that's just the Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Active
