Default Control arms

I after replacing my brakes (pads&rotors) I decided to do my control arms. It's the right one that's really bad it makes a loud clunking sound when breaking lightly and your typical control arm ball joint noise when going over bumps. My question is anyone know of a step by step on how to replace the control arms? I can probably figure it out on my own but any bit of information would be greatly appreciated

Cheers and thank you guys

Here's a write up I did when I replace all of my front control arms. The most important step is to spray the pinch bolt with PB Blaster or the like everyday for a few days before you begin. This will help you avoid a lot of grief trying to get the bolt out if it is rusted in place. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...t-Control-Arms

thing to remember, the curved one needs to be the one for the ar
the ball joint cone is slightly larger in the ar arm, if you get the a6 one, it will wear out really fast.

FYI, the Blau website also has some info on how to replace using their kits (but information is also useful even if you don't use their parts):

Also dont forget to use a jack or something and jack that knuckle up so the full weight of the car is on the suspension then tighten all the subframe to control bolts. having it hang and tighten them will destroy the bushing as soon as the car hits the floor.
