Pdunning

So I found a loose pipe exiting from my manifold which lead to nowhere and I cant seem to find where it is meant to go... There are no lights on the dash and it doesn't appear to be causing any problems to the performance. It seems to be connected to what looks like a choke on the manifold see the attached images. Its a 00 2.5tdi any help would be much appreciated
